The main objective is the removal of solid and liquid particles in order
to protect some turbines or mechanical seals.
The construction materials can be different:
carbon steel, stainless steel and special austenitic ferritic steels such as
Duplex, Super Duplex, Nickel alloys and Titanium Gr. 2. Also the dimensions are
fully customizable.
The
applications are endless; the principal one is the filtration of the natural
gas before the fiscal
measurements or on a turbine for the production of power.
In
this case there is a pre-filter (double stage o a cyclone demister or a vane
pack), a post filter and a metering piping with the turbine).
