Basket filter
The basket filters made by STC Srl follow the specifications provided by customers, trying to satisfy all the needs for special and uncommon applications.
These filters can be used in various fields: from the protection of equipment such as pumps and compressors, in the fine chemical, petrochemical and food & beverage sector, to general and steel industry.
The construction materials can be different: carbon steel, stainless steel and special austenitic ferritic steels such as Duplex, Super Duplex, Nickel alloys and Titanium Gr. 2. Also the measures are fully customizable.
All filters can be supplied according to the most common international standards: ASME Sec. VIII, EN13445, BS BS500, AD2000 and can be tested according to PED2014 / 68 / EC requirements, supplied with CE mark and USTAMP as needed.
Each basket filter can be subjected to various surface treatments such as internal and external coating cycles, pickling and passivation treatments.
STC basket filters can be equipped with various accessories such as pressure gauges, temperature or pressure transmitters and electrical switches.
We can design these basket filters for many applications but the main one is the removal of solid particles.
The filter elements can be realized in all type of metallic materials.
